IN-HOME NURSING VISITS
Registered nurses go to your home and help you understand the cancer diagnosis, answer questions, review treatment options, give nutritional guidance, provide a listening ear and so much more.

SYMPTOM CONTROL
Our nurses help patients learn how to control symptoms, cope with nausea and fatigue, how to handle side effects and pain management skills.

CHEMO COMFORT KITS
All patients undergoing chemotherapy receive a free Chemo Comfort Kit. Through the generosity of Anne Marie Paolucci, a breast cancer survivor and founder of Chemo Comfort, Cancer Support Team will review with you the various offerings and how they can help — teas to combat nausea, warm socks, a soft cap to cover your head, specialized items for oral care, a book entitled “Living Well with Cancer,” a blank book for recording feelings and dates, and a CD of soothing music for relaxation. Also, a list of helpful hints that Anne Marie passes along as suggestions.
